What is Destroying America? Part 2 of 3

What is destroying America

While it is a bit difficult to address the issues by taking one group at a time (since they really overlap), I’m going to continue to take a stab at it. In this part I am going to discuss the government and its role in the destruction.

There is no nation on earth powerful enough to accomplish our overthrow. Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter: from the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence. I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men and become the instruments of their own undoing. Daniel Webster

Things really did not start out well for the republic. The Articles of Confederation were written and allowed for great individual state autonomy but did not have the power the nationalist thought a national government should have. Those who came together in Philadelphia were charged with amending the Articles but, instead, staged a coup and wrote a completely different document. The Constitution was written by Federalists (who were actually nationalists). Taking this name gave them the better press since, naturally, those opposed to nationalism had to be called Anti-Federalist (who were actually federalists…but that name had already been taken!) I submit that people in the US would be much more free if the Articles of Confederation had been modified appropriately. However, since we have the Constitution, I will keep my further comments based on that document.

Of course, it didn’t take long, even for the founding generation to break the chains of that Constitution by enacting the Alien and Sedition Acts.

The Alien and Sedition Acts were four bills passed in 1798 by the Federalists in the 5th United States Congress in the aftermath of the French Revolution and during an undeclared naval war with France, later known as the Quasi-War. They were signed into law by President John Adams. Wikipedia

These acts were a direct violation of the 1st Amendment, among others.

Even the great statesman, Thomas Jefferson, when President, couldn’t resist going against the very document he helped write when he engineered the Louisiana Purchase. While it seemed expedient to make the purchase and keep France out of the American backyard, the purchase was not specifically authorized by the Constitution for the federal government to complete. Had he remained faithful to his beliefs, he would have had to seek a Constitutional Amendment granting the federal government that type of power.(Answers.com)

Another transgression of Jefferson was his support of the embargo acts in an attempt to coerce England into leaving the American merchant ships alone instead of commandeering them and impressing the sailors into the British Navy (those mainly that had been British sailors before and had either deserted the British Navy or had left British merchant ships for American ships). These embargo acts ignored the 4th, 5th and 6th Amendments to the Constitution.(Mises.org)

President Andrew Jackson was able to get rid of the national bank, one of the few bright spots between the founding and the War for Southern Secession. That war helped to greatly consolidate power in Washington, D.C. and diminish states’ rights. It was a continuation of the descent of state power and ascendance of federal power. Around the first of the new century, Washington, D.C. was beginning to push its expansion into being an empire in actions such as the Philippine insurrection, the Spanish-American War, and the conquering of the Hawaiian Islands.

Also during this time period, the Progressive Movement was taking place. Great areas of land in the West were being bought by wealthy Easterners and donated to the Federal Government for use as national parks and national monuments. Authorization for the procurement, even if not specifically bought by the Federal Government, cannot be found within the confines of the Constitution. One result is the vast amount of territory in the Western U.S. owned and controlled by the Federal Government (see map below courtesy of http://nationalatlas.gov/mapmaker?AppCmd=CUSTOM&LayerList=federallands&visCats=CAT-boundary,CAT-boundary).

Federal Lands in US

Federal Lands in US

This land has recently been in the Nevada news involving Clive Bundy, his ranch, turtles, the Bureau of Land Management (another agency not authorized by the Constitution) and various militia groups. Constitutionally speaking, the Federal Government can own land in various states “for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings;…” (Article 1, Section 8, paragraph 17). Even this land must be “purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be.” (from the same paragraph).

1913 was a great year for progressives but a very bad year for the Constitution. The first two blows came almost together, with one infraction supporting the other. I am talking about the Federal Reserve and the Income Tax (16th Amendment). These two monsters were created to allow the Federal Government to finance anything it wanted, insuring the wealth of favored people and interests at the expense of American citizens as a whole. As we should understand by now, the Federal Government and its politicians lie when they want to get something passed. The lie concerning the income tax was that it was designed to “soak the rich”, playing to envy, and was actually a political game gone wrong. The Republicans introduced the proposed amendment to embarrass the Democrats, believing the amendment would not pass. It did.

Another amendment that was passed during this year was the 17th Amendment, allowing the popular vote for US Senators. This amendment was another nail in the states’ rights coffin and destroyed another constitutional protection by allowing the Senate to become an extension of the House, both being filled by popular vote, effectively stopping what the founders were trying to avoid…impassioned bills without a more stately outlook. At that point, states lost any representation within the Federal Government they may have had previously. An extension of this type of populist desire can be seen in the recurring election year topic of doing away with the Electoral College in favor of a popular vote.

Woodrow Wilson and FDR ran on non intervention in the world wars of their time but then pushed for entering the wars. Because President Wilson was unable to get the League of Nations off the ground, the Treaty of Versailles was written to ensure another war would occur and it was hoped that the country would be so tired of warfare that the League of Nations or something like it would finally be successful. Of course, in hindsight, his plan was successful since WWII did occur and the United Nations was approved.

President Roosevelt used the Great Depression in order to institute many of the ideas Mussolini adopted in Italy. It was during this time that the ponzi scheme of Social Security was born. It was sold to the public as a safety net for workers, allowing the Federal Government to collect money to be put aside for the worker to withdraw upon retirement. It didn’t take long for the government to show that to be a lie. Finally, under the Johnson administration, the Social Security Trust Fund was moved to the general fund and became just another tax. None of the cases brought before the courts concerning the right to social security benefits have been successful. It was, and has always been a ponzi scheme – an illegal program that has landed many (Bernie Madoff, for one) in prison.

President Truman was the first President to use the United Nations as a shield against the Constitution concerning warfare. He got permission from the UN to go to war in Korea and, calling it a “police action”, declared he did not have to go to Congress to get a declaration of war. During this time, the Chinese were part of the security council and were in the decision loop during the war. Anytime MacArthur was gaining, the Chinese were able to counter the gains. The Soviets were also part of that council and had the inside scoop on US actions in Vietnam. This arrangement was not rectified until after 1990 and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Since WWII there has been no declaration of war in any of the many wars in which the US has participated, with the UN being relied upon for justification.

President Johnson gave us “The Great Society” and escalation of the Vietnam War; President Nixon took us off the gold standard; President Reagan ran on dissolving the US Department of Education but didn’t; President GHW Bush said “No new taxes”, then promptly raised them after the election; President Clinton bombed Iraq for 10 years; President GW Bush launched two undeclared wars almost simultaneously and signed into law the Patriot Act and Indefinite Detention, introduced and allowed torture to become standard, created a prison camp in Guantanamo, started the use of drone attacks, and bailed out Wall Street; President Obama ran on transparency and undoing many of the Bush atrocities but has, in fact, perfected and increased most of them while undermining government transparency and spying on Americans. I don’t believe you will find authorization for any of these things within the Constitution. Progressives, no matter what party, are still in control, attempting to dictate every aspect of life in America, assuming they know best what each individual wants and needs.

So, as you can see, the Federal Government, as it is currently run, will not provide the materials needed for liberty and freedom. There are other examples, such as the “War on Drugs”, abortion and gun control that continue to eat away at the freedoms still available to us. These programs are not conducive to a prosperous and happy family and do nothing for the betterment of the nation.

The next post will be about education in America. I hope it will not be so long between posts.

What is Destroying America? Part 1 of 3

What is destroying America

Recently I saw a discussion concerning someone running for office locally. This discussion was about social issues and evils and how that person running believed these situations should be handled.

I once heard someone say that you can’t legislate morality. It didn’t make sense until about 7 years ago. Morality must be taught and instilled. It must be internalized. Just look at the drug war and witness this fact.

Where did the decline begin? When did it begin? Why did it begin? These are the questions I’d like to touch upon in this post. You may be able to discern from the accompanying graphic where I place the blame.

Here, in Part 1 of the series, I’d like to explore the Church’s role in the destruction. While the Church’s part in this destruction may have started around the time of the War for Southern Independence, I’m going to start around the turn of the 20th Century. It was during this time that Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) wrote “The War Prayer”. In it he castigates the Church for its hypocrisy. This prayer is as relevant today as it was in 1904 when it was written. Witness the number of times churches honor veterans, have national flags in their sanctuaries, and preach Romans 13 to keep the congregants from taking action concerning their rights as citizens of their country.

Chuck Baldwin, the preacher who ran for President in 2008 under the Constitution Party, has a series of sermons on Romans 13 and has also written a book on the subject. He is a proponent of the “Black Robes”, those preachers of the Revolutionary period in the US.

Now, during the FDR years and the Great Depression, progressivism had really taken hold (more on this in Part 2). People were either rich or poor – the middle class was almost non-existent. The Church was overwhelmed with trying to take care of the masses and government gladly came in with Social Security and work programs. Unfortunately, once the crisis was over, the Church did not retake their benevolent work, but continued to allow the government to provide that. The Church has continued to allow the government to perform the Church’s job and has even gone into partnership with government programs.

Another area in which the Church has faltered is with taxes. Many have decided to apply for tax-exempt status. With the revelations of the IRS’s audit targets, many preachers and churches do not want to risk offending the government and losing that status. For this reason, their sermons do not keep the sheep vigilant but keep them docile, awaiting the shearing or slaughter.

The religious right came into political power back in the mid-seventies after the Rowe v Wade decision. These groups were adamant about electing only those who SAID they were pro-life and who SAID they were Christians. It is difficult to know if these organizations were started by politicians who saw a cash cow that would continue to give milk for decades or if they were created by honest people seeking to overturn an affront to their beliefs. These organizations would (and still do) support any candidate that espoused these beliefs, and would re-elect those same people, even if they produced no discernible fruit in this area. In fact, the one politician (Congressman Ron Paul) who introduced a bill that would have taken abortion out of federal jurisdiction, was never able to get enough votes to have his legislation passed. This is even in the face of having a majority of “pro-life” politicians in Congress and holding the office of President.

Another argument concerning the Church and its role in the destruction of America, is the obsession with the “end times” and with the current state of Israel. As Yoda said in “Star Wars: Return of the Sith”, “Misread, the prophecy could have been.” The current state of Israel, while made up mainly of Jewish descendents, is a Zionist state. It has become what it feared and escaped from in Nazi Germany. Preachers like John Hagee have taken Israel and put it on a pedestal, tying America to Israel at the hip. In Hagee’s world, though, it is not America that is the dog, it is Israel, and America is the tail. Israel must be supported at all costs, but why? It is because, in part, it is believed that the last war will be fought in the middle east and that if this war can be precipitated, the second coming will occur faster. This type of thinking goes right along with the worship of the military and the blindness to anti-abortion politicians (who could care less about abortion).

Finally, many in the Church want to change the behavior of people through legislation. They do not understand that projecting one’s beliefs on another is nothing but pure oppression. They do not understand that they are only responsible for themselves and their actions and that, if another person does something for which they do not approve but that action does not harm another, that it is not their business, but it is G-d’s. Additionally, they do not think past the current moment, that they are setting a precedent that will be used against them when “their guys” are no longer in power. An example is the current state of marriage. Many are against homosexuals getting married. The problem was that while the Church’s guys were in charge, the Church allowed the state to become arbiter of marriage, taking it out of the hands of the Church. Once it became a secular thing and their guys were no longer in charge, homosexual marriage was made legitimate.

What is the driving force behind the Church’s actions/inaction? FEAR. Fear of Sharia Law coming to America; fear of losing the tax-exempt status; fear of not supporting Israel in every act it decides to commit, whether righteous or not; fear of terrorism; fear of homosexual marriage; fear of drugs. This fear is not of G-d.

2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

It is also placing one’s faith in man.

Jeremiah 17:5-6 ESV

Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.

One final thought. During the last Presidential election cycle, during the debate held in South Carolina (supposedly a Christian-dominated state), Congressman Ron Paul was booed when he mentioned the Golden Rule in relation to foreign policy.

Part 2 will address the government’s role in the destruction of the country. Until next time…

Defenders of The Abyss

the_abyss_by_alexiuss-d5im6xfalexiuss.deviantart.com
First of all, let me define my terms. In this article, the Abyss is where the federal government is taking the soul of the republic. Torture, murder, pre-emptive war – all lead the soul of the republic further into the Abyss. Since 9/11, the new Pearl Harbor, “everything changed”. (See page 51 for the referenced phrase) In actuality, change had begun years before and has been accelerating. The Defenders of the Abyss are those who wish to bring the republic into the bottomless pit of amorality and total control. They are the ones who literally get away with murder and will do anything to remain in power and keep power within their confines.

The ‘90s brought:
– Gulf War I, a war that was waged against a foe who had recently been a friend but who had grown out of favor. He was given the green light to go into Kuwait, then was attacked for doing so. Once the “war” was over, crushing sanctions on Iraq prevented the government from rebuilding the infrastructure destroyed by the invasion and was a great contributor to the deaths of over 100,000 Iraqi civilians.
– 1992 gave us Ruby Ridge and Lon Horiuchi, a FBI sniper who would play a prominent role in another government power play later. As you recall, murders were committed and celebrated here.
– 1994 brought the Waco incident with the incineration and murdering of religious fundamentalists in Texas. This was where Lon made his next appearance. Another cause for celebration of murder and a move further down the Abyss.
– 1995 and the Oklahoma City bombing. BATF had completely infiltrated Elohim City, the origin of the “bombing” but could not/did not stop it. Bombs were reported being taken from the building, a prominent bomb expert gave evidence of the physical impossibility of a fertilizer bomb being able to create such destruction on its own, the carting away of debris before a proper investigation could be conducted. A false flag gone bad? Further down the Abyss.

The new century has brought the US government into pre-emptive war, torture, and rendition. Along with this move has been, despite the rhetoric of an open and transparent government President (a Defender of the Abyss), a monumental growth in secret government operations. This brings me to the meat of this article…Bradley Manning.

After reading the definition of a whistleblower, defined in PPD-19, and, from what I have gleaned from various accounts, Bradley Manning should be classified as a whistleblower. He, apparently, did notify his chain of command of the atrocities committed and other inconsistencies he had seen. This report, however, fell on deaf ears and he was told to basically shut up and color. After he realized nothing was going to change by going through the proper channels, he decided it was so important to the American public that he would find a way to get the information to them. Wikileaks was apparently that conduit.

Bradley Manning was cooked from the beginning. The defenders of the abyss wasted no time in branding him a traitor and accusing him of aiding the enemy. The President, his commander-in-chief and that of the judicial system who would try him, convicted him before his pre-trial confinement torture had begun. His chances of a fair court martial were nil.

While Manning was not convicted of aiding the enemy (which carries with it the death penalty), he was convicted of enough other charges, such as the Espionage Act of 1917 (a muzzle on the press during WWI that was never repealed), that the maximum sentences will put him in prison for over a century. A bit of irony is that, as the American public becomes more aware, they (we) are the actual enemy. In this instance, Bradley Manning would be guilty of aiding the enemy and the other charges…not so much.

It has also been noted recently that those in the military who have murdered civilians in Iraq and gone to trial for those murders, have not only received short sentences (less than 10 years), their convictions have been overturned and they have been released. So, if you murder for the government, you are more likely to get better treatment and early release, if not outright overturning of sentence…slipping deeper into the abyss.

In light of what has happened to Bradley Manning, and in contrast to what has happened to Clapper and Alexander for perjury in Congress (absolutely nothing), is it any wonder that Edward Snowden would seek asylum.

Both Manning and Snowden are examples to the military and civilian sector that the defenders of the abyss will not tolerate the disinfecting light of truth.

Below are some quotes to ponder:

Why was it so important to German officials to go after people like Hubener? The answer lies in the words of Dr. Joseph M. Goebbels, Hitler’s propaganda minister:
The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the TRUTH becomes the greatest ENEMY OF THE STATE.

Here is the Golden Rule of sound citizenship, the first and greatest lesson in the study of politics:
You get the same order of criminality from any State to which you give power to exercise it; and whatever power you give the State to do things FOR you carries with it the equivalent power to do things TO you.
A citizenry which has learned that one short lesson has but little more left to learn. Stripping the American State of the enormous power it has acquired is a full-time job for our citizens and a stirring one; and if they attend to it properly they will have no energy to spare for fighting communism, or for hating Hitler, or for worrying about South America or Spain, or for anything whatever, except what goes on right here in the United States.
Albert J. Nock

NEWS FLASH
Is anyone surprised at the closure of the embassies – all due to what the NSA found by hoovering up our electronic data? Be prepared for a false flag or two just to give the impression that the threat was real. “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave” – certainly cannot refer to the government. The Abyss must be defended at all costs.

What is the REAL Mission?

SWAT
Try to imagine that it is 2AM and you are sleeping. Your family is in the house with you and you an ordinary citizen with “nothing to hide”. You are awakened by a noise at your front door and, while attempting to wake up, are knocked to the ground by an explosion and hear cursing and yelling coming from somewhere. You get enough composure to retrieve your firearm and position yourself so you can protect your family from whatever is about to come through that door. You have heard no announcement of who these people are. What do you do when those images appear in that door? Warn? Shoot? You know that if they make it past you, your family will likely be harmed.

If you shoot and it is a gang bent on physical harm to you and your family and to rob you, more than likely, they will flee once the bullets begin to fly. If they are SWAT, however, they will continue until you are subdued. That is probably how and when you will know what you are up against.

So, how often does SWAT go to the wrong address in the middle of the night and conduct “No Knock” raids? Apparently fairly often. William Norman Grigg writes extensively about police who have crossed the line at Pro Libertate

Back to our initial scenario.

If the intruders were a gang, you most likely would have killed/wounded the first one or two and the rest would have fled the scene. You might face questioning by the police once you call them to report what happened. Depending on your state and city, you might face charges of owning a weapon without a license but will likely not face any charges associated with killing/wounding the intruders.

If, however, they were SWAT and you manage to live through the ordeal, you will likely be charged with murder/attempted murder if you killed/wounded any of them. You might also lose a family member to one of their stray rounds but they will not be charged because of immunity. SWAT will not be responsible for repairing what they tore up in the raid, even though they went to the wrong address. Your family’s only recourse is to sue the city where the taxpayers will pay any fines that may result. The raiders will hailed as heros only doing their jobs and sorry for your luck.

So, we are back to the original question. What is the real reason for SWAT? I submit that it is intimidation. It is a failed reaction to the unconstitutional “War” on drugs. As someone once said, “What’s the use of having all these toys and not being able to use them?”

What is the solution? Well, first off, end the “War” on drugs. Next, disband SWAT everywhere and go back to serving warrants the old fashioned way. Stake the place out for a while if you feel threated, then serve the warrant. If none of these occur (I haven’t seen any pigs flying lately) be vigilant, create a neighborhood watch and immediate response team, and use that team to assist if any neighbor calls for help. More than likely, neighbors are in a position to respond more rapidly that the police, especially in rural areas. I believe this approach could go a long way in stopping this abuse.

Any other ideas?

Next topic…police forces in general.

UPDATE
SWAT used on Wisconsin no-kill animal shelter. Supervisor says….wait for it….Yesterday the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources posted on its Facebook page a lame excuse for its Seal Team 6 style raid on the animal shelter, excusing the assault by claiming that “our staff took precautions to keep everyone safe as they executed the required search warrant.” I’d say intimidation is at work here.

9/11: The Story with No Ending

9_11 Map
What is it with 9/11 and the continual reference to it to justify the mayhem the US government unleashes throughout the world? Will we ever know the truth about it?
A question I have is: Was the Murrah Building bombing a dry run for 9/11?
Similarities are-
1)it appeared that bombs were placed on beams within the buildings designed to explode and bring the buildings down. Initial news footage of the Murrah Building had reporters stating that bomb squads were removing unexploded bombs from the building. A great investigative source on the Murrah Building is “The Final Report on the Bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Building”, by State Representative Charles Key. This book can be found on Amazon
2)both scenes were cleaned up before a throrough investigation could be conducted.
3)both scenes had the rubble shipped off by the same contractor.

Other questions I have are:
1)If the planes were drones or missiles, were there really flights that day with the flight designations given by the media?
2)If the planes were drones or missiles and there really were flights that day with flight designations given by the media, where are the passengers and crew?
3)If they really were passenger jets with a crew and passengers, has any of the family members of those passengers ever said anything about their loved ones?
4)Flight 93 had the “Let’s Roll” slogan but did that really happen on an aircraft since the crash site had no distinguishable debris?
5)If Flight 93 did not crash, was there such a flight?
6)If Flight 93 did not crash and there was such a flight, where are the passengers and crew?

The following links were recently sent to me and I’d like to share them. If you are big into the 9/11 mystery, you may have already seen them.
If you have any answers to the questions I have posed above, I’d appreciate a response with links to your information.

The Oklahoma Contingent – Recent Happenings

US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
BRIDENSTEINMULLIN

So, what has the Oklahoma contingent to “The Capitol” (from Hunger Games) been up to recently? What has occurred to either give hope or despair to the folks in the great state of

lucascolelankford

Oklahoma? Two things seem to have caught the media eye. Both have freedom and Constitutional implications and both have freedom and tyranny proponents.

NSA Defunding Amendment
You may have recently heard that Justin Amash led a charge to defund the portion of the NSA budget that fuels the domestic spying program that has come to light due to Edward Snowden’s blowing the whistle. There are implications to this spying that, on the surface, may not be apparent. Let’s just think about “there is no point in collecting all of this data if it isn’t going to be used”. Can this be one reason why votes in the Congress always seem to be incoherent and inconsistent?
Ah, I digress.
There were two that sided with freedom on this amendment to the bill, Bridenstein of 1st District and Mullin of 2nd District (again, doesn’t this sound a little like Hunger Games?) The other three did what they usually do – sell out to the state. Lankford voted for a watered down version of the Amash amendment, then stated the bill wasn’t the proper venue to address the Amash ideas. Huh? It has been said that he was reading from a note on the stationery of Cole – could it be “proper” talking points? I’d just like to commend Congressmen Bridenstein and Mullin for their vote. May the odds of them voting for liberty principles be ever in our favor and may the fleas of one thousand camels infest the houses of those who consistently cast votes for tyranny against the citizens of Oklahoma.

ObamaCare (RomneyCare but with a D behind it)
Cole has decided that attempting to defund ObamaCare is not possible and that shutting down the government until ObamaCare is done away with is childish. I would think that ObamaCare will end up defunding itself if not done by Congress since it is unsustainable. Is it the plan to let the economy crash on its own weight rather than to attempt to lessen the impact of the crash on the citizen? Is it impossible to reign in spending before it is too late? To use as an example, as a federal employee, I am furloughed and 20% of my pay is lost due to 20% of my time being unpaid-working 32 hrs a week. After checking previous pay stubs, I found that the last time I made my current salary was in 2007. So, as a private citizen I am expected to execute a budget that was in effect in 2007 but the Congress cannot even go back to a 2012 budget without “grave national security implications”? Again, does this go back to the NSA spying dragnet? Is Cole being blackmailed by someone in high places to publish gibberish like this? Makes me wonder.

US SENATE

inhofecoburn

ObamaCare (RomneyCare but with a D behind it)

Yes, our faithful Senator Coburn (a doctor of all things) has weighed in on this topic. Since what he said is strangely similar to what Cole said – basically that ObamaCare cannot be defeated (where is that rubber glove) and to get over it. Easy to say for someone who will not be under its “benevolent” provisions. Just as his vote for the original TARP, which he is still proud of, this statement only makes sense in light of the NSA’s collection efforts over the last ___ years (you fill in the blank since we have no idea how long this has really been going on.)

WHAT CAN BE DONE?
The net around each citizen is becoming more and more sure. The snake has 1000 heads and grows a new one when a head is wounded or severed. It should be obvious by now that voting (at least at the national level) is not the answer. If voting was effective, Congress would have outlawed it.

I propose a three-pronged strategy. First, have Oklahoma reconstitute the Oklahoma State Militia. There are provisions for it currently within the Oklahoma State Constitution. Second, nullify any unconstitutional laws emanating from “The Capitol”. Begin tapering off, with the ultimate goal of no longer accepting, federal funds for anything. At the same time, reduce the funds sent to “The Capitol” by the same amount no longer being received. Use the Oklahoma State Militia to repel any federal aggression. Lastly, if the situation becomes untenable, Oklahoma should secede.

The hour is late. Is it possible to have a constitutional republic? Was the coup that occurred during the writing of the Constitution a failure in that what they wrote has actually led us to this place? As Ron Paul once said, the American people must decide what the role of government should be. It seems there are some who believe it should take care of citizens from cradle to grave (as a farmer does his livestock). Others believe in private property and ownership of oneself, taking personal responsibility for decisions made. Which are you and how do you see being able to achieve that which you believe in?

Ron Paul Presidency – What Would Have Been Different?

presobama
ronpaul

Well, it’s been a little over a year since President Obama started his second term as President of the United States. What a difference a year makes! It seems that the time has come to reflect on where we are as a nation under President Obama and where we would be under a Paul presidency. I’d like to work this as a “What has occurred under the current administration” and “What would have occurred under President Paul”. I will create a heading, then, using their last names, make the contrast.

FOREIGN POLICY
Obama
– Destabilized Libya by helping to overthrow its leader. Libya is now a basket case.
– Destabilized Egypt by denouncing Morsi and continuing to provide aid to the coup leaders. Egypt now under military junta.
– Providing arms to the Syrian rebels with links to the same terrorists we are fighting in Afghanistan. American arms probably being used against American soldiers in Afghanistan.
– American military still occupying Afghanistan. Will be a failed state whether American soldiers stay or not.
– Drone strikes continue.
– Military adventures are occurring more frequently in Africa and AFRICOM is trying to get a permanent base on the continent.
Paul
– Libya would still be intact.
– Egypt would have the government that was voted in by the Egyptian people.
– Syrian rebels and Syrian government would not receive any military aid from the US.
– American soldiers would no longer be occupying Afghanistan.
– Drone strikes would have ceased.
– Military adventures in Africa would not exist. AFRICOM would be disbanded.

DOMESTIC POLICY
Obama
– Whistleblowers Bradley Manning, Snowden, and Assange are treated as spies and traitors.
– NSA spying on Americans’ electronic, telephonic, and snail mail goes unabated and is touted as a requirement to keep citizens safe.
– IRS targeted conservative groups for auditing.
– Fast and Furious gun-running operation performed by the Justice (sic) Department.
– FBI and their continuing false flag operations to make Americans believe there is a credible terrorist threat.
Paul
– Bradley Manning would receive humane treatment and would be given a fair trial – the Commander in Chief would insure that.
– The NSA head would have been fired and its operations severely curtailed. The large data repository in Utah would not be built.
– The IRS would be on its way to oblivion along with the Federal Reserve.
– Fast and Furious would have never occurred. Had it occurred, Holder would have been immediately fired.
– The FBI would have its operations greatly curtailed.
– The PATRIOT ACT would no longer be enforced by the President. Domestic spying would cease.

I’m sure there are other areas and items that would be different. What would you add to the list?
